Project FlyTrap

Project Flytrap, a major U.S. Army-led counter-unmanned aircraft system (C-UAS) exercise, brings together US and allied forces to test and validate new, low-cost, and portable drone detection and defeat technologies to counter rapidly evolving threats on the battlefield. 

MatrixSpace is the official Project FlyTrap sensor, providing rapidly deployed, enhanced airspace awareness.  We’re a forward sensing layer that feeds M-SHORAD platforms earlier, increasing engagement time and improving kill chain effectiveness. AiEdge processing delivers real-time detection, classification, and tracking local, and AiCloud fuses these sensors into a common operating picture, for a rapid sensor-to-shooter cueing.  For fixed or semi-fixed positions, our 360-degree radar provides rapid-deploy coverage for key assets, while maintaining the mobility required for survivability.

The event gathers US Army technical experts, operational units and defense industry partners with one goal - enable sensors, platforms, weapons systems and command-and-control technologies to share data in real time. Working alongside defense industry heavyweights, we successfully integrated into the validation environment - the
Anduril Lattice/IBCS-M C2.for Air Defense platform - in support of Integrated Battle Command System-Maneuver (IBCS-M).
