Brian is a private investor leveraging over 30 years on Wall Street and in industry to identify, invest in and advise interesting startups in the semiconductor and communications systems industries.

Previously, Brian Modoff was the Executive Vice President of Strategy, M&A and Venture Investments at Qualcomm, helping define Qualcomm’s strategic direction and long-term vision and to ensure strong cohesion and alignment with all strategic planning efforts throughout the organization.

Brian led the company’s M&A and Venture Investment efforts, completing several key acquisitions and venture investments including Mobile/RF, Automotive, IOT, AI, AR/VR and Networking. He previously served as a Managing Director in Equity Research at Deutsche Bank Securities. He has provided guidance and advice to many companies for IPOs, mergers and acquisitions and venture capital funding.
