MatrixSpace’s ability to combine industry leading RF sensing, AI edge processing and RF communication in real-time is a major technology breakthrough with multiple vertical market applications. We are seeking a Product Engineering Manager to deliver the industry-leading radar and communications products to the market. The role includes leading product characterization, qualification, manufacturing, and market introduction. The manager will be part of a growing, innovative product development team.
Tasks:
- Lead product characterization, qualification, manufacturing, and introduction process
- Determine strategy and implement as individual, as part of a team, and/or outsourcing:
- Characterization to address product specifications
- Production test
- Product manufacturing
- Product qualification
- FCC qualification
- Field applications
- Customer satisfaction
- Work closely with RF circuit, firmware, and software teams to create product
Skills:
- Expertise in bring radio products to market
- Experience in leading product characterization, production test, manufacturing, and qualification efforts
- Managerial experience in building and leading teams, managing budgets, and meeting goals
- Ability to distill product capabilities and customer requirements into cost-effective high-volume product with high level of customer satisfaction
- Expertise in building teams and/or working with external teams to accomplish goals
- Ability to wear many hats in a startup environment and grow a scalable organization
- Ability to work with external teams
- Expertise in creating process and workflows to ensure scalable and repeatable solutions
- Technical understanding of complex radio circuits and systems
- Demonstrated hardware debugging skill using bench equipment
- Demonstrated success in resolution of technical challenges leveraging strong problem-solving skills
- Strong written & verbal communications skills, good interpersonal skills
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering required
- 10+ years of experience lead effort and teams to bring a product to market
- 5+ years of relevant work experience with RF circuits and systems
- Must be a US Citizen
