We are seeking a highly organized Customer Fulfillment/Supply Chain Specialist to lead, manage, and own the processes of enabling prototype development builds through customer fulfillment to purchase orders. This requires close collaboration with engineering teams through the prototype process, transitions to production manufacturing facilities, order entry (shared with sales), scheduling of customer shipments, entering and tracking shipment details, and more.
The overall objective is to ensure customers receive the products they want, when they want them. This also means enabling prototype development to occur on schedule, to organize our own suppliers to ensure we have the bill of materials required for assembly, and to coordinate with key vendors.
Reporting to the product engineering manager, this important role collaborates with the sales, operations, and R&D teams to deliver a consistent, repeatable process for scheduling and delivery of both internal prototypes and customer orders.
This role is a key position as part of a growing, innovative product team and is ideal for a professional with high attention to details, demonstrated project organization skills, and who enjoys working with internal teams, customers, and suppliers in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:
- Proactively manages our customer backlog, scheduling shipments so that customers receive the right products at the right time with correct documentation and support.
- Works closely with sales and marketing to prioritize, plan for, and deliver customer success when they use our products.
- Ensures appropriate documentation, shipment records, export control documents and records of configuration management (what hardware/software versions were shipped) were recorded.
- Drive prototype supply chain procurement, inventory, and PCB assembly activities.
Skills:
- Strong written and verbal communications skills, plus good interpersonal skills
- Excel spreadsheet and project planning experience required.
- Organized and able to anticipate future requirements.
- Part procurement and inventory experience a must.
- Significant experience in product development and production organizations.
Requirements:
- College degree.
- US Citizenship required for our Federal contracts.
- Able to provide specific examples of complex project management experience.
